A REFRESHER COURSE

MISTY MOUNT

Paradise lost, seeks to be found.
A prodigal strayed, seeks to return.

Bid a fond farewell to innocence
and a hearty welcome to experience.

Quaff the water and savour the wine.
Favour the flower and relish the fruit.

Renew the skin; replenish the cup.
Relinquish virginity and embrace intimacy.

Refreshed?

Of course!

ICON

'What goes around, comes around' is a glib example of a general tendency which Tao regards as restoring balance to a disturbed situation.
This can apply to personal behaviour, social relationships, the interaction of populations, and any field of knowledge or imagination.

Such a rebalancing may be transformational, involving the outgrowing of a phase in psychological, moral, or political development.
Tao is sceptical of 'pure' philosophical or religious systems; favouring
instead a pragmatic synthesis born of genuine dialogue between them.
