Sowing small seeds and growing fair flowers,
accepting insignificance and cultivating virtue,
the sage is unperturbed by failure or success.Of healing herbs, refreshing fruits, cheering blooms,
the sage gives freely, careless of cost;
and through loss becomes enriched.
For all its blemishes, adore the face of life.
With all its scars, cleave to the body of life.
Aware of all its faults, cherish the heart of life.
