GO WITH THE FLOW
Tao is so vast - it is easily overlooked.
Tao is forever flowing - yet holds its place.
When misfortunes strike and Tao seems lost:
It returns with unfailing loyalty.
When faiths fail and beliefs fade:
Tao is still there, always.
When Tao seems faraway:
Look! - it is right at your side.
Go with the flow:
Stay with Tao!
Tao is essentially impersonal and oblivious
to prayer or invocation. To purposefully
exploit or bargain with Tao is risible.
However, just as an individual yields personality, so Tao may yield
impersonality, for an affinity between them to
be established.
Such
concepts as 'daimons', 'guardian angels', 'spirit guides',
even the anima/animus of psychology, may represent
qualities of Tao
in a simplified, personalised fashion. Tao may even 'wear a human face': the face
of anyone behaving in accord with its principles.
